STARY Jr. is the Temple Shaarei Shalom youth group for 6th-8th graders. Attending one of STARY Jr.'s exciting events is a great way to hang out with friends, have fun, and do something Jewish. You don't have to be a member to participate, but our youth group members do get lots of perks! Another awesome thing about STARY Jr. is that you can easily earn community service hours and meet new people.
Some of our favorite things to do are:
Rollin' with the Rabbi: Break out your bowling shoes
for a Havdallah service that will knock your socks off!
Tie-Dye Picnic: Peace, love, and picnic baskets!
STARY Undernight: Not exactly all night- staying late at the Temple means
tasty treats, mitzvah projects, games and fun!
