Our highly successful and active auxiliary organizations promote sociability and fellowship and help support the Temple. We organize social, recreational and special events. More important, our groups nurture friendships and offer the comfort of belonging to a community with the loving care of "family" through the ups and downs of life. Click on any of the links below and find out what’s happening with our Auxiliary Groups...

Temple Shaarei Shalom Sisterhood

Formed in 1992, Sisterhood has donated money to buy the land on which the Temple was built, furnished the kitchen, provided a Judaica Shop and helped establish the first library. They sponsor entertaining and educational events for their members on the third Thursday afternoon of the month.

Temple Shaarei Shalom Recovery Team

The Recovery Team at Temple Shaarei Shalom was created to offer a caring atmosphere in which our congregation feels comfortable discussing addictions and recovery. The team does not offer counseling, but will refer those who need assistance to professional counselors. Contact Rabbi Fratello at 561-364-9054 or rabbi@templeshaareishalom.com.

Temple Shaarei Shalom Havurah

What is a Havurah? Havurah is usually comprised of a group of no more than 10 to 12 persons.  They are usually matched by lifestyle, age or marital status.  Groups get together for a variety of reasons including (but by no means the only one) book discussions; dining in or out and movies. All ideas are welcome.  It’s a great way to meet and make new friends and cement old friendships. Existing groups of friends are welcome to form their own Havurah. Pick a name for your Havurah…make it fun or serious. Call Honi at 733-9997 (after 11 AM) if you are interested.
