Temple Shaarei Shalom

Capital Campaign

Temple Shaarei Shalom was founded as an adult congregation in 1992. In 2000, the Congregation opened a Religious School and welcomed younger families. Since 2000, we have increased membership from 180 to over 500 families and at present our school has over 200 students. We are currently located in a building that no longer meets our growing needs… and have launched a capital campaign to provide funds for construction of our much needed space.

The anticipated costs for this construction will be about $3,500,000.

We seek:

Y To provide religious, educational and social programs for a congregation of widely disparate age range.

Y To increase membership, knowing that in Palm Beach County more than 80% of the Jewish families are unaffiliated.

Y To increase youth programming for the 40 or more students eligible for the junior and senior youth group. Membership in the youth group does not require congregational affiliation.

Y And, last, but not least, we seek funds to support our physical expansion.
