Temple Shaarei Shalom is a Reform Temple affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism. Working with the Union gives us access to the latest and best programs in Reform Judaism.

Temple Shaarei Shalom offers many programs and Auxiliaries. There are opportunities to participate in many different religious, social and educational activities.

Our Religious School is attended by 310 students who receive an outstanding religious education, participate in services on the Bema and have opportunities to sing in the Youth Choir, study for Bar/Bat Mitzvah, continue their Jewish education to Confirmation, and enjoy elective programs.

Come worship with us at a Friday evening Shabbat service, study Torah on Saturday morning, and stay for the Saturday morning service.  Experience a caring and welcoming congregation and a dynamic Rabbi and Cantor, who enrich our meaningful religious services.

HAVURAH

What is a Havurah? Havurah is usually comprised of a group of no more than 10 to 12 persons.  They are usually matched by age. Groups get together for a variety of reasons including, but by no means the only one, such as: Book discussions; Dining in or out; Movies. All ideas are welcome.  To say the least, it’s a great way to meet and make new friends and cement old friendships. Existing groups of friends are welcome to form their own Havurah. Pick a name for your Havurah…make it fun or serious.
